We are a fun (and not G-rated) guild: more than anything else, we strive to have a good time and enjoy each other's company.

However, we also want to take what we do seriously... how else can we be a WTFPWNZR!! guild?

In addition to ensuring smooth instance runs with as few wipes as possible, raid progression will become an important focus for us. To this end, we require everyone to come to an instance run/raid well prepared to maximize your performance.

It is important that the leaders ensure the group is well prepared. In the event that someone comes unprepared, the instance run/raid in questions will be CANCELED.

Some guidelines:

Be on time! If you're participating in a scheduled run, whether it be a 5-man, Kara, or a heroic, make sure you come BEFORE the scheduled time so that the group can start as scheduled. Also very important: Make sure you can stay for the entire instance or raid if you say you will attend one. We don't want to have to look for replacements half-way through.

Buffs! Make sure you bring any well-fed bonus food and any flasks/elixirs/pots that will help to maximize your role. This can make a vital difference especially at level 70 instances.

Addons! There are numerous WoW addons that have been created to help maximize player performance. What follows are our requirements to help ensure successful instance runs/raids:

At the very least, you want to make sure you have the following addons:

A threat meter. It's used to gauge the threat levels of various members of your group... you want the tank to have the most threat. Omen is a good one and seems to be what most of us use. Another good one is KLHThreatMeter.

GroupCalendar. This is what we'll be using to schedule instance runs/raids as well as any other events.

Deadly Boss Mods. For those of us that will be raiding, you NEED to have this addon... no exceptions. This is an excellent addon that will notify the group of certain events (special attacks, who has what debuffs, etc.) during boss encounters. This helps us to react quickly and effectively.

In addition to these, there are other addons that are more class specific. For example, HealBot for healing classes. You want to make sure that you have the best tools available to make your job easier and help ensure the success of the group. You will be responsible for researching which ones are best for you... make sure you have them!

How to install:
  1. Exit the game
  2. After saving the .zip files to your desktop, open your wow directory (Usually you can get to this point by opening My Computer > Hard Drive > Program Files > World of Warcraft
  3. Inside the WoW directory, open the "Interface" folder. Then open the "Addons" folder.
  4. Extract the addons into this folder. If there is more than one folder, put all folders in this directory.
  5. Make sure the addons are enabled in the character selection screen when you login to WoW (in the lower left-hand corner is an "Addons" button).
If you have questions about any addons, ask around in guild chat... we'll be happy to help or make suggestions.
